Nate Osborn, a senior at High Tech High in San Diego, finished fifth in the Division 4 boys championship race at  the California state meet at Woodward Park in Fresno. Osoborn ran 15:30.9 to complete the biggest improvement of any male athlete from the 2019 state final, when he finished 199th in 19:13.5.
